Unit 33 LO1 - Evaluation of Stop Motion Animation Formats

Make a 10 second animation using each of the following:

  • Clay
  • Lego
  • Paper Cut Outs
  • Sand/Tea
  • Whiteboard
  • People and Objects
Complete a WWW/EBI for each of the above. Discuss:
  • Camera shots
  • Camera movement
  • Lighting
  • Artistic ability
  • Set requirements
  • Errors: set up/hands in shot/onion skin etc
Include images from your animations

Write an evaluation that discusses and  compares all formats. Justify which format you will use for your animation and explain why.
